At the beginning of September 2021, Melanie and Michael Aichriedler opened their DAN kitchen showroom at Höschmühl 1 in Waldzell, near the trade fair town of Ried in Austria's Innviertel region.
At kitchen showroom Aichriedler, we realise individual dream kitchens tailored to the personal needs of our customers. The services include in-depth advice for customers, precise measurements of the available space, customised planning using state-of-the-art 3D kitchen design and the installation of the kitchen - all from a single source.
According to market Markttest, the young company's kitchen brand DAN is "the strongest kitchen brand in Austria."
KPS.MAX was finally installed shortly before the kitchen showroom opened. "Mr Resch came to us, we installed the software and after a short training session I was able to start with the first design. I briefly showed my wife, who had never had anything to do with kitchen planning before, how KPS.MAX works. She was able to work with the solution straight away," says the kitchen specialist, summarising the introduction of the software.
The kitchen design specialist can look back on almost 20 years of professional experience and has worked with a wide variety of kitchen design solutions during this time. He therefore had very specific ideas when it came to kitchen planning systems: "Our aim is to perfectly realise our customers' wishes and, together with our experience, to create a feel-good space that is both functional and practical for many years to come. In order to realise this, we need professional design software that brings the planned kitchen to life and makes it a "must have"."
Michael Aichriedler also places great emphasis on the individuality of each kitchen and works it out down to the last detail right from the design stage. "We want to impress our customers as early as possible with the first photorealistic visualisation. The look has to be right from the start!"
As Michael Aichriedler has known and valued KPS sales representative Martin Resch for many years, the decision in favour of a solution from SHD was made right from the start. When Martin Resch presented the newly developed KPS.MAX in mid-2021, the Aichriedlers immediately realised that the solution's new technology would perfectly meet the kitchen showroom's requirements. KPS.MAX is easy to use, delivers photorealistic, vivid views, impresses with its perfection in design and is unbeatable in terms of speed. "As we are always open to new ideas and a future-proof design system is very important to us, we decided in favour of KPS.MAX. The good, cooperative partnership with the SHD employees is also very important to us - Martin Resch is a really nice guy," says Michael Aichriedler.
On 140 square metres, the Aichriedlers present a small and fine selection of possible kitchen dreams. KPS.MAX allows the designer to score highly, especially in smaller kitchen showrooms. With its unique photorealistic presentation, live shadows and animations, the solution virtually replaces the exhibition and allows customers to experience the functionality and ergonomics of the planned kitchen even without an exhibition. Even in the case of complicated kitchen layouts, the ease of use provides a clear increase in expertise when providing advice. The designer is thus able to demonstrate the full range of variants in the design.
The integrated, intelligent automation relieves the user of many manual processes and significantly shortens time-consuming work steps. Long parts such as worktops, for example, are automatically generated, calculated as order items and added to the shopping basket. The shape and size can be changed manually. Michael Aichriedler: "The software tools offer us countless possibilities. Functions and details can be visualised one-to-one with all the special features and, thanks to the smart design aids, can be staged quickly, easily and error-free."
The sensational speed of the software enables real-time rendering. This enables smooth navigation in the photorealistic 3D view live, without time-delayed image build-up and, above all, at any time during design and presentation.
Last but not least, Michael Aichriedler can fully utilise his consulting skills with KPS.MAX and demonstrate his technical expertise to the customer thanks to the high degree of automation in the application. "It goes down very well with customers if you can deliver beautiful images. And that's very easy with KPS.MAX. We need significantly less time for processing, have more time to respond to the customer's wishes and can therefore offer the perfect design result. That is exactly what we want."
The option of integrating a wide variety of light sources and backgrounds into the design also helps with the "beautiful pictures" aspect. In this way, the room can be flooded with sunlight or the time of day properties can be set to control the direction of incidence, angle, light intensity and colour temperature. A wide variety of light sources can also be freely positioned in the room and help to create an emotional atmosphere. The successful staging of the dream kitchen awakens emotions that have a positive influence on the customer's decision-making process.
